As part of the “Šalovanje” project, a contract on business and technical cooperation was signed between the Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad and Energotehnika Južna Bačka.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Faculty, City of Novi Sad, AP Vojvodina, representatives of ministries and representatives of more than 40 companies engaged in construction with the aim of more productive networking of education, science and economy.

Energotehnika Južna Bačka is a long-term partner of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, since 2017 the Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Power Electronics and Converters has been in force. Every year, we accept new students through the scholarship program, who upon graduation become part of our engineering team.

Today, we have extended our cooperation to the Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy.

The company Energotehnika Južna Bačka presented itself today to the students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, at the Info Day in the premises of the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad.

The info day was designed with the idea of ​​introducing students to the possibilities of employment and career development in companies operating in our country. Each of the eight companies had 20 minutes to present in front of a full amphitheater. Juzna Bačka was represented by the project manager, Milan Nedimović, who talked about the projects he was involved in, introduced the students to the way of working in our company and shared his experience and development path from student to project manager.

The new sign of proven quality is the slogan of the campaign which aims to promote a new look and a new direction in which the company is increasingly moving – renewable energy sources. 

In addition to electric power and thermal energy, which the company has been successfully dealing with for more than 6 decades, in step with Europe, in order to preserve the planet, we are also turning to „greener“ projects. Over the years, we have acquired references in the field of wind farms, solar power plants, waste water purifiers, and since the Republic of Serbia has maintained a constant growth in the construction of new capacities for the production of electricity from RES, we are ready for new challenges. 

From 2022, we are also stronger for a new partner, the Hungarian electrical industry, the company MVM, which became the owner of 33.4% of the shares in the companies Energotehnika Južna Bačka and Elektromontaza Kraljevo.
